In 1962, S. Himmat Singh, lovingly known as Baba Ji, started a small dhaba with recipes that carried the true essence of Punjab. Over the years, his son Mr. Kanwaljit Singh and his wife brought innovation to the menu, introducing delicacies like Fish Fry and Spinach Corn Roll that quickly became customer favourites.

By 1991, overwhelming love and demand led to the first Baba’s Restaurant opening in Model Town. With homemade secret masalas and the iconic Butter Chicken, Baba’s soon became a household name, delighting food lovers across generations.

Today, the legacy continues with Mr. Avneet Singh and Mr. Harsh Mohan Singh, who bring the same passion, quality, and Punjabi warmth to Calgary at Jackson Gates Plaza.
